Often afraid to play poker with the cards but when we start we are afraid to lose and be eliminated and that is a terrible mistake in poker because, because when your opponent goes all in and you know you have a good hand and you can not go sorry for it afterwards, I lost many times for fear and it's horrible, this post is to give us advice to all players how to avoid the fear and play all when we have a good hand without fear of losing, good luck and good life for everyone😁

Soren Eriksen has won the 2010 New Zealand Poker Championship for the second year running, winning $60,000.
Taking out over 80 Main Event competitors for the title, Eriksen built his chip stack to a healthy $60,000 at the final table. He outshone nine other finalists including Cole Swannack and Michael Spilken, second and third place respectively, to take the title consecutively for the first time in the championships 12 year history.

In what appears to be the first arrest under America's UIGEA bill, Daniel Tzvetkoff from Intabill has been apprehended in Las Vegas, Nevada following an apparent tip-off by the online poker community to authorities.
27 year old Tzvetkoff now faces charges including bank fraud, money laundering and processing illegal internet gambling transactions. It's alleged he helped process over $500 million in transactions between February 2008 and March 2009. When his company collapsed he was left with $80 million worth of debts, including $30 million owed to four online poker room operators.
Tzvetkoff was arrested after being in Las Vegas for a conference. Despite being declared bankrupt he was still involved in a consulting and billing group offshore.
Tzvetkoff could now face up to 75 years in jail if found guilty on all charges.

Big stack at a freeroll..had qd7d flop ad 3d 6d...went all in guy had 2d 4d and he hit the 5d on the turn for a straight flush..alright stack goes down to about 2.5k..next hand pocket A's all in preflop guy gets two pair K Q on flop..8k down the drain real fast

There’s been a lot of speculation recently that Senate majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) will be introducing legislation that would legalize and regulate online poker in the United States, separate from the current bills that exist in the House of Representatives.
The rumors have been circulating for a while that Reid, who represents Nevada (Las Vegas) casinos’ interests in the Senate, may be moving in this direction. But the chatter has been picking up in recent days.
This is all still speculation and unconfirmed rumor at this point. No Senate bill exists right now, and what exactly it would encompass if it did exist is purely conjecture. But it seems like that this new front on the battle over online poker in the United States may get opened up soon.

According to The Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative, a new study from market intelligence company H2 found that new projects regulating all forms of Internet gambling in the US would create up to 32,000 jobs over nearest five years.
The release of this study complies with legislation in Congress to regulate Internet gambling, which is led by House Committee Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank .
H2 thus found that regulating all forms of online gambling would generate up to a total gross expenditure of $94 billion over five years and $57.5 billion in tax revenue from projected wagering, related job creation and growth of supporting business over the same period.
It was previously forecasted that $72 billion over ten years would be collected from license fees and other federal and state taxes in a regulated environment without sports betting.
Internet gambling regulation is expected to benefit existing land-based casinos around the country. Access to this new market as a source of alternative revenue for existing businesses is likely to have been one of the factors that led the American Gambling Association last month to announce support for Internet gambling regulation.

My personal favorite was a year or two ago when I was playing over Xbox Live in a SNG. There was this one chump talking a whole bunch of smack the entire game about how he is basically God's gift to poker....well long story short the game winds up with me and him heads up, me up by about 100 chips in total and on the button dealt AA. I push all-in knowing full well he's going to call me, which he does. Flop comes down K-K-A and the smack talk from his end ratchets up a notch. Turn: 9d and he's laughing his butt off. No sooner did I say it's not over till it's over do I get my fourth Ace on the river. No I won no actual money, but I had the satisfaction of hearing his controller fly across the room into something with his mic still attached lmao.
