Iowa we love our gambling. Also have the most casinos/population number outside of the state of Nevada. There are about 5 proposals for additional casinos to be built. As long as i can keep my online poker i will be happy.

Lately I've been in a heated discussion with a friend about odds vs probability and here is our situation....

He's is trying to tell me that the ODDS of pulling a STRAIGHT FLUSH and a ROYAL FLUSH are EXACTLY THE SAME when pulling 5 random cards from a full 52 card deck...

I dont believe it because why then would a royal flush be higher than a straight flush....

I've read in places that its 1 in 649,739 to get a Royal and 1 in 72,192 to get a Straight Flush, but im not sure if that is considered odds or probability.

Can someone shed light on this and help me better explain this to him😟?

Think about it a little harder, vinny. . .

There is only four (4) ways to pull a royal flush out of a deck of 52 cards, but there are 36 s-flushes that you can get other than the royal. . .

Where was that on the cake network somewhre?

I like those micro r/a games.
I like to buy in for 2x buyins + an addon right before break 'n see if i can run deep in them from there. pretty good value if you can pull it off consistantly.
I did that in pokerstars 1.10 r/a the other day 'n finished 6th on 3.10 buying in 5 minutes before break, lol.

New preliminary statistics released by the American Gaming Association showcase why the introduction of poker and other table games are so important for the continuation of these establishments’ profitability and success.

The study shows that gaming revenues dropped 5.7% across 12 states where gambling is authorized, mainly due to the recession and the increase in the popularity of US online casinos. If US casinos expect to see their revenues rise, they will need to introduce new products that appeal to gamblers, such as poker and table games.

Nice job!! never had much luck with badugi though I'd like to learn how to play better. Seems like a game not many people know how to play well. Sometimes, especially in the freerolls, seems like a lot of people don't know how to play period.

Bodog Poker has recently brought bad beat action to their tables. Though the victory may not be as large as some other online poker rooms, the stakes are considerably lower and more hands are eligible for the jackpot.

One of the featured online casino games at Bodog is Caribbean stud poker. It is a 5-card poker game where you are playing against the Dealer. It is very easy to play and gives you a lot of chances to win money. You can even win big if you hit the progressive jackpot at online casinos. Caribbean stud poker at online casinos has you placing an initial bet and then after you are dealt your five-card hand you can decide whether you would like to bet again against the Dealer’s hand. The good news is that you can see your hand and one of the Dealer’s cards before making that decision.

Have fun hitting a royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house or flush at the Bodog casino.

Good idea lowering the stakes and get more people into the chance of winning.

When sitting down at a ring game you are normally asked if you want to post the big blind now or wait. What are the advantages of waiting. Why not just post the big blind so you can play right away.
