Hello all here to share some thoughts and chat as often as I can. See you at the tables...😁

Hey and Welcome to the site. Just getting back into the swing of things after the craziness of the holidays and thought I'd say "hello". Lot of great people here that are always willing to spread some cheer or simply give a helping hand. Good luck, and hope to see you out there.

A recent court order in the case of iMEGA versus the Department of Justice stated that the UIGEA cannot be a federal law against online gambling. It said that the UIGEA would be applicable only in those states where online gambling is illegal. Therefore the scene has now shifted to the individual states and many of the states are contemplating taking a call on this issue.....😄

Hosted by the awesome Ricky Gervais, the 2010 Golden Globes did take a bit of a melancholy turn, as the chaos and grief over in Haiti was recognized throughout the evening.

Michael C. Hall won best actor in a TV series for his role as Dexter Morgan, the compelling serial killer in Dexter. Hall received his Golden Globe wearing a black benie, as the actor recently announced that he has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is now nearing the end of his treatment as his cancer is now in remission.

Highlights included Martin Scorsese, who received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, which was presented to him by Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro.

Sandra Bullock was named best actress in a motion picture drama for The Blind Side, while Jeff Bridges got a standing ovation when he accepted the Golden Globe for best actor for his role as a washed-up country singer in ose Crazy Heart...........................................

All of these athletes that are in the news, and all of these so called fans talking about their woe's.
Now the fans that actually take time out of their lives to discuss these celebrity athlete's problems are the true one's with the problems to begin with.
I mean, do these "fans" really believe in their poor simple minds that these athlete's really give a damn about them, or for that matter the conclusions that they draw from their actions.
If were one of these "adoring fans" that would spot a celebrity athlete in a eatery or a theater or hell just on the street. What (if you are truley gamblers) are the odds of he or she even acknowledging your meek existence.

Come on now people, step back into the real world.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions lottery may be small at one in 175 million, but that will not stop gamblers from taking their chances with a jackpot that sometimes reaches $100 million. Iowa officials estimate an annual increase of eight to ten percent over the Powerball lottery.

(In order to win the jackpot on Mega Millions, a player must correctly pick all six numbers that are drawn. If they do not win the top prize, players may still win other prizes ranging from $2 to $250,000.)

Doesn't Iowa offer Powerball?

In Ohio, they offer Mega Millions, and are trying to add Powerball.

The actor, who is married to Dixie Chick Natalie Maines, refused to take a breathalyzer. His bail has been set at $15,000.

It’s been called the iSlate and the iTablet, but the official name for it is the Apple iPad.

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, made the much anticipated announcement today about the coveted piece of tech that is a hybrid between a laptop computer and an iPhone.

While the size is more reminiscent of a small laptop, the function is essentially a more powerful iPhone.

The iPad is a mere half-inch thick and only weighs 1 and a half pounds. Its 9.7-inch LCD screen is great size for movie watching and its custom-built 1GHz processor, along with flash storage (available in 16, 32, or 64G😎 gives it more than enough juice under the hood for e-mail, web browsing, watching movies, etc. It has 802.11n, WiFi, as well as Bluetooth 2.1. Battery life is impressive at 10 hours on a full charge.

Similar to an iPhone, the iPad runs Apple apps without any modification required, but unlike the iPhone it will also run third party programs.

I think this has a reader function, which like the Kindle will continue to grow in popularity. Even now, e-books are less in cost than regular books.

Playtech is a company looking to the future of gaming with it's new mobile gambling platform. The Isle of Man software supplier, is launching Mobile Web Apps as the latest cross-platform solution from Playtech. With no need to download, this will be a boon to those who are on the move, the player can enjoy gaming even while out on the town.

The inception of mobile casinos has made it possible to enjoy Online Gambling from anywhere the device may receive signal. In order to maximize the reach of these Playtech Mobile Casino games, the iPod/iPhone and Android markets will be utilized, with more to come.

Unfortunately, USA players cannot enjoy these casino games until the UIGEA is repealed. Current, USA Mobile Online Casinos can be found through such casinos as Bodog

Since 2010 began, Frank has added two new co-sponsors to his bill that would overturn the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. In addition the legislation would lay the groundwork for a regulated Internet gambling industry in the US.

The two latest co-sponsors are Rep. Charlie Melancon from Louisiana, and Rep. Eliot Engel from New York. The two additions in January bring the total number of co-sponsors for the bill to sixty-five.
