New to the forums and understand the restrictions for new members to access private threads until a reasonable amount of activities is shown. But until then, i'm assuming everyone plays on the tables that is public to everyone. I hope i run into someone at the tables and see where i stand as a poker player. I looked through the members list and can assume who is active and who isn't. For now, just currently playing at Carbon,

They had just finished the 'Al Largo' one to start the 'Five Diamond' one :-);
Basically a freeroll, a qualifier, & then a final's for one ticket to a WPT event. the First two average about 4k peeps and you need to finish in the top 100! The 'AL Largo' final's had >600 peeps, but yes need to win it; 2nd - 9th get AB/UB gear.... GL All

It runs evryday at 130est. It has a cap of forty thousand players paying 60 spots. Top seven win entry to daily 90k. 5.50 fo 8th to 60th. Out of forty thousand I finished 317th today. Freerollbird

PokerStars have just announced the addition of Danish professional Theo Jorgensen to their stable of Team PokerStars Pros.

Jorgensen turned pro in 1993, and since the 38-year-old took up tournament poker in 2004 he has amassed $2,459,967 in live tournament winnings, in addition to his online earnings.

Jorgensen’s achievements include famously capturing a WSOP bracelet at the 2008 WSOPE PLO event for $434,040, as well as a WPT title in May this year at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris for $879,898. He was also chip leader for a while at the 2010 WSOP Main Event, eventually being eliminated in 30th spot for a $255,242 payday.

There is no denying Theo Jorgensen is on a roll after accumulating $1.1 million from live tournaments this year, and will now start flying the PokerStars colours starting on November 4th at the Nordic Championship of Online Poker.

Commenting on Theo Jorgensen’s recent sponsorship, PokerStars Nordic Director Michael Holmberg said:

Here I am at pokerstars. Started with a $10 dollars deposit, brought it to $70.00.
Decided to hop in a 1-2 dollar cash game. I was doing perfectly fine until one hand wiped me clean.
Some tips for future reference would be helpfull. So please tell me how each of you
Would play this hand. Hands are dealt, blinds were called, I get pocket aces and raised $10.00. Everyone folds
But one and he re raises to $20.00. I felt confident in my aces and re-reraise to $30.00. He calls. Now at this point, I can only assume he has high pockets
With kings or queens. Flop drops 654. I raised all in with my remaining $40.00, just make sure he can't catch anything on the turn or river. He calls..
The guy has pocket fives.......he landed trips on the flop. And then I lose.......

I had not played one of these and made it to the money in a while. Had my Iron Man point, so I did not feel like playing Rush or ring tables, so I registered for the USA Freeroll. It was a long tourney, but I came away with a little bit of the prize pool. I may have done better, but for some reason KK is not my hand tonight. I lost with it twice at the final table, each time the person caught the 1% out they needed to win. LOL. I will surely play this again in the near future. X
