Finished 2nd at Intertops Easter $500 Added tonight. Took down $130.90 plus I get a ticket to the Easter $3,000 GTD on Monday night also, and.. depending on how many decide to buy their way in to the 3k... their may be only 23 entered plus the ones that pay out the $11 to enter! This was a great value tourney to enter.. buy in was $3.30. Tomorrow night is another $500 added with a $5.50 buy in. Should be another great value to enter.

This is Intertops Easter weekend, so get in on this while you can. It won't be around again for quite some time I'm sure.

Managed to cash at the Easter $3,000 GTD tonight. Only got up in the standings late in the game. Got crippled twice, but managed to hang on early and stay alive. Got a couple hands later that put me up to 10th, but just melted away and struggled to make it ITM. 15th out of 75 players for $60... so a good profit of $181.68 all together for the Intertops Easter Poker Festival.

Tough game tonight. Had a really good battle in the last 5 players...nearly an hour to knock anyone out..then 2 of us went in the same hand lol. Sports Interactive is a cake skin site located from Canada. Mostly all US and Canadian players it seems. They have a Monthly Insider's Final every month with freeroll sats which have 10 tickets nearly each night. Easy ticket to get into the final. It's a very good tourney as you can see from the screen shot. Here is the email from them on my finish.

Congratulations datsme53SI,

Out of 181 players in Tournament 9596026 (Monthly Insider’s Final), you came in 5th and have won $50.68.

Well.. hard to believe, but I was at 1900 chips with 44 left.. I was 44th.. 40 get paid. I got 10,10 and won that and won the next 2 doubling or tripling up and won another huge pot a bit later.. was soon in the chip lead. Hung around from there and ended up taking it down. Got my chips in best and they held up for me during my runs.. so lucky that they all held up when I needed em to most lol! 1st place of 236 for $250.22. Taking this one down was very satisfying. I also won a ticket to The Sunday $5,000 Added, plus... my choice of a wide variety of poker books... probably will be another of Dan Harrington on Holdem.

What a huge victory Datsme53. We all know already that you are a good player, but it looks like you are adding to your laurels.

I finished 14th out of 131 players at this $25k GTD and won $400! Played it through Sports Interactive.. a cake skin. Qualified for it by getting a ticket to the Monthly Insiders Final and winning that one. Winner got a ticket to this $25k one. I was doing pretty well, but card dead time hit me at the end. I was shortest stack all in with A,J and lost a flip to a small PP. That ticket I won from the Monthly Insiders Final was for a $5k Added, but Cake changed it to a ticket to the $25k shortly after Black Friday. Not a bad payout for qualifying from a freeroll.

Just days after announcing its acquisition of US-friendly poker site DoylesRoom and promising significant investment in the community, Americas Cardroom (Doyles Room) is putting its money where its mouth is. The online poker site has announced that it will be launching an online poker super series of its own this November. Dubbed ACROSS, the Americas Cardroom Online Super Series will run for six days in late November.

ACROSS will feature 19 Hold'em and Omaha events, spread out over six days, with $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. The series, which culminates in a $50k guaranteed Main Event, will feature at least three major tournaments per day.

Also planned for the series are a number of promotions, including a contest that awards free tournament seats to the top 10 players to cash in the series; a $1k freeroll seat for every player who cashes more than once in the series; and a Frequent Player Points award for each player who finishes a tournament on the bubble.

Americas Cardroom announced a Super Satellite on October 23rd guaranteeing 10 packages worth $3,500 a piece for the 2011 Punta Cana Poker Classic. And during November, Americas Cardroom will introduce a $65,000 Points Race that rewards the top place with $7,500 cash.

As day three gets underway at the WSOPC Main Event at Horseshoe Hammond, let's take a look back at the numbers for the event, along with the players that have surprised us, for both good and ill. A record-setting 1,615 players began the tournament, surpassing the next largest Main Event by almost 750 players. After a 14-hour Day 2, only 20 remain in today's play, led by Eric Crain, who currently has over 4,480,000 in chips. Crain, from Murphysboro, IL, is a two-time Circuit champion whose second ring came two years ago in a H.O.R.S.E. event at Hammond.

He has to keep an eye out for Aaron Steury, who's currently in second place and Luther Lewis and Drazen Ilich, both of whom have proven themselves. Lewis won his first Circuit ring in Tunica last year while Ilich made the final table of the WSOPC National Championship (7th) and has already recorded a runner-up finish in Hammond this year.

Notable eliminations include circuit favorite Dwyte Pilgrim and the Day 1 chip leader, Paul “Walnuts” Bianchi. Also heading to the rail were Chad Brown (63rd) and Josh Brikis (34th).

You can compete in big money online poker tournaments every week at Bodog Poker!

Day 5 of the European Poker Tour San Remo gets underway later today, when the remaining 24 competitors still left in the tournament will play down to a final table of eight.

Day 4 of the €4,900 EPT event started with 64 players and Christopher McClung (pictured right) way out in front of the field with 1,202,000 in chips. By the end of the day the Canadian internet pro with $943,988 in winnings as “d0r1t0s” had managed to extend his lead even further. He finished on 3,148,000, putting himself over a million chips ahead of nearest rivals Daniel Neilson (Australia) on 2,011,000 and Mustapha Kanit (Italy) on 1,761,000.

McClung enviable position was partially due to an enormous pot played between himself holding Qh-7h and Joseph Cheong with pocket kings. After one player raised pre-flop to 41,000, McClung re-raised to 104,000 before Cheong 4-bet to 220,000. McClung then moved all-in inducing a snap-call by Cheong, who must have been feeling good at this point.

However, a Jh-4h-2c flop signalled danger which was confirmed by a Kh on the turn and a 9s on the river. Cheong then finished in 31st spot for €16,000, while McClung pulled further away from the rest of the field.

Other notable players hitting the rail on Day 4 included Tyler Bonkowski in 55th (€12,000), David Bach in 47th (€14,000), and John Duthie in 41st (€14,000).

Vanessa Selbst also bid farewell to San Remo after she was dealt Ac-Kc and committed her middling stack on a queen-high board only for her opponent Alessio Isaia to turn two pair holding Q-J. Vanessa Selbst was then eliminated in 40th place for €14,000.

Amongst the 24 players still competing, many notable names remain in contention. These include Alessio Isaia (Italy) on 1,524,000, Barny Boatman (UK) on 1,257,000, Johnny Lodden (Norway) on 1,227,000, Lex Veldhuis (Netherlands) on 877,000, Elio Fox (USA) on 377,000) and Mike McDonald (CAN) on 292,000).

Action at the Casino di San Remo will resume at 1400 CET today and will then play down to the final table, with €800,000 going to the eventual winner.
