Horse racing will soon have more competition from legal forms of Internet gambling in the United States, although that initial competition will be in the form of intrastate wagering.
On June 28, Delaware Gov. Jack Markell signed a bill that will allow intrastate online gambling on games like poker, roulette, and blackjack. The Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012 clears the way for players in Delaware to wager online.
Backers said the bill, which will set up a system where Delaware’s land-based casinos will launch web sites that will be controlled centrally by the state’s lottery office, will position the state well as it competes with Pennsylvania and Maryland for gambling handle, reports the Wilmington, Delaware News-Journal.

Bitar, 40, was arrested on Monday at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, according to Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara. Bitar was charged last year with gambling, bank fraud and money laundering in connection with the operation of Full Tilt Poker.

A British poker pro says he was attacked by six men in Las Vegas just hours after he won more than $10 million in a tournament.

Yes ,It was really sad that all hell broke loose recently and it was happened 10 days ago.It has accused the network acting in unethical manner. Micro programming is insistent that 5050 poker had breached its terms of contract,an allegation that the poker site is denying.

$125,000 is a ton of cash for most people, but for one gambler in Las Vegas the amount is apparently a drop in the bucket. Poker pro Daniel Negreanu shared a story on his Twitter account which involves a stranger and $125,000.
Negreanu posted on his Twitter account that a stranger gave him $125,000 after stating he had no use for the large amount of cash. Negreanu stated that he did not know the stranger who approached him and handed him the large sum of money. the poker pro related the incident to his Twitter followers in two posts:
“Guy I’d never met before just handed me $125k in cash cause he had ‘no use for it and had to fly out’. Man do I live in a strange world.”
