Al Horford’s defense on Giannis was spectacular today, absolute defensive masterclass by boston overall in game 1. Did not see Milwaukee get beat down at home for sure but FairPlay to boston they finally look like the team everyone expected before the season

Can't for the life of me understand these NBA refs. Klay clearly fouls Harden on back to back 3 point attempts and nothing is called yet when Harden plays any other team he be getting these calls every single time. Where's the consistency?

NBA Playoffs 2019 – Denver Nuggets vs Portland Trail-Blazers Series Preview

embeded-image

The Denver Nuggets face the Portland Trail-Blazers in what is anticipated to be a very evenly matched series!

Playoff run so far for both teams

Nuggets: The Nuggets are coming off a very impressive 1st round win as they took down the San Antonio Spurs in 7 games overcoming a series deficit twice and truly showing grow up signs as their young players have performed really well whenever counted upon whether it’s Jokic, Murray, Harris etc. Nuggets have been one of the best offensive teams in the first round, in fact 3rd best when it comes to OFF RTG in the post season.

Trail-Blazers: Despite being the 3rd seed, Portland were tipped as underdogs in the 1st round and overcame that by bouncing Oklahoma City Thunder out in 5 games in what was a very good performance by the Blazers as they have overcome their Playoff struggles snapping multiple different bad streaks and reaching the 2nd round. Portland got into the Playoffs in what was arguably one of the most legendary ways ever as Damian Lillard knocked down a near half court buzzer beater to knock out the Thunder in Game 5.

Takeaways

Great response by the 76ers

Jimmy Butler showed exactly why the Sixers got him

Surprisingly the Sixers bench has been outplaying Toronto’s bench which wasn’t supposed to be the case

Raptors need more scoring outside of kawhi and Siakam

Joel Embiid just does not look right

Nuggets are growing up in front of our eyes

Jokic is playing amazing basketball

Blazers have serious issues defending Denver’s froncourt. Don’t be surprised if Millsap and jokic continue to dominate
