Awesome draw as a Chelsea fan, get the easiest team and avoid Arsenal Napoli until the Final if we make it. Fantastic opportunity here

Oh man I'm so impressed by Eintracht Frankfurkt. Although they got red card in early fist half but they did manage to score two goals and still be very agressive in the counter attacks. Jovic today was brilliant together with Rebic. It will be very difficult for Benfica besides they have lead after today's game.

Slavia gave us a very tough 1st leg game, but luckily Marcos Alonso out of all people, yes the most dreadful player on the team came through with a winner πŸ˜„ , also fantastic ball by Willian. We're lucky to snatch a 0-1 win but that should be enough to go and kill them off at home. Chelsea should be heading Semis now

90' Villarreal 1-1 Valencia
93' Villarreal 1-3 Valencia

talk about the tie going all up in smokes for Villarreal in just a 3 min period πŸ˜„

It's heart breaking to loose in such a way. Basically the whole season was lost in 3 minutes. All the hard work that was throw away. And there is no a positive signs for them when they are struggling to get from relegation zone in La Liga.

Feel guilty that I forgot to mention Benfica young star Joao Felix who was brilliant yesterday also. He did everything for the team. The 19 year old youngster scored a hattrick and provided one assist. He definitely will be hunted this summer by a big super club. One of his goals from yesterday. 😍

Not a bad performance from Chelsea today, away goal no defeat thoroughly outplayed Frankfurt which doesn't happen often to them at their ground. Think we'll do the job at home and go to the Final. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a damn beast in midfield love what the guy brings

WOW What an emotional 2nd leg against Frankfurt. Fantastic 1st half, horrible for the rest of the game. 3-1 down on Pens and we somehow pulled it off. Absolutely mental, we simply don't lose on Pens to German teams for some reason πŸ˜„ plus it's crazy how we have an all English Final in both European competitions. That's gonna be insane. Premier League runs football AGAIN!

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has become the first ever Arsenal player to score a Hattrick in a European Cup Semi Final

Can we just talk about how ridiculous UEFA are? The Final will be held in Baku which is in Asia, yes the European Cup Final is being played in Asia and not only that it's not really a footballing nation.

Then, there's 68 thousand seats in the stadium, and only 6000 tickets each Arsenal and Chelsea fans are getting. 12k of the 68k total seats will only be taken up by Arsenal and Chelsea fans. What a disgrace

Besides that, there is another news for the final.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan to miss Europa League final

embeded-image

We are very disappointed to announce that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not be traveling with the squad for our Uefa Europa League final against Chelsea.

We have thoroughly explored all the options for Micki to be part of the squad but after discussing this with Micki and his family we have collectively agreed he will not be in our traveling party.

We have written to Uefa expressing our deep concerns about this situation. Micki has been a key player in our run to the final so this is a big loss for us from a team perspective.

We’re also very sad that a player will miss out on a major European final in circumstances such as this, as it is something that comes along very rarely in a footballer’s career.

Micki will continue to be part of our preparations until we depart for Baku at the weekend.

UEFA should finally consider more reliable and safe places for any finals. Now they just selling their ass for the money and let anything go.

It always sucks when politics are mixed with sports. It would be interesting to see any similar situation but with the most popular footballer. What UEFA will do if Ronaldo or Messi announce that they don't want to play in the specific area where Champions League will attend. Of course, Asia is a big and worth market regarding the business and money but it destroys football.

Football has sold out for money years ago now, it's ridiculous at this point. World Cup in Qatar, Europa League Final in bloody Asia in a place where there's a high risk of terror and a certain player can't even go. I mean honestly they're bending themselves over for money by putting actual players/fans in danger. The Fans can't even get to the Final by direct flights to Baku it's a joke and I've heard only 600 chelsea tickets have been sold out from the 6000 allocated. Fans simply cannot afford to get there and UEFA are still doing this Final. London alone has 6-7 good stadiums where you could host this Final between TWO LONDON CLUBS
