I am really interested in what has been said here because I have played a LOT at Full Tilt and it seems to me that the card deals are not random.

Typically, in my experience, the big stacks get better hands/table cards. I have checked this and can say that - at least for the 180/360 freeroll games, that whoever is in the top 10 after 5 minutes (usually sheer luck gets them there by then) is likely to be in the final table - simply because the big stacks just get a higher % of good hands.(and yes, I have been the big stack many times as well as on the other side)

It seems to have gotten worse and I just no longer play there. I play elsewhere and am a winning player there.

So am really interested to find out why you all think FT is so great!

It is not great but it does have alot of fish and sharks alike which makes for interesting poker play. There are at all times 15,000 or more people on FT so you never have to search for a table you just click and play. Just but some real money in your account and see what happens it might change your views on the site. Oh yea this is just a suggestion that you might want to go by. Just my opinion.

I like Full Tilt. The players there are good and they dont play crazy like they do at Absolute.

I use to play at fulltilt all the time, but there is so many players playing at once, it is hard to get into freerolls. I have never played real money there only the freerolls, but I like the laid back non-rush atmosphere of other sites. At fulltilt, if you want to play in a freeroll, you have to be right there as soon as registration opens to get in if you even make it then. The password tournaments are not even safe there. Players take the password and post at other forum sites. There is one site that gives you points for passwords, you can use those points to get other passwords that you need. It is rediculous. At carbon poker, it takes a hour to fill up a freeroll of 1500 players.

The freerolls aren't great on fulltilt anyway. Not the ones full tilt runs. They only pay 1% at best of the players in the tournament and don't adjust for the number of players they get. I pick and choose which freerolls I play very carefully. If I see a tournament getting too many players, I choose another. Best way to go is to start in the Play Chip games and try to win enough to play the $40 Play Chip game. Full Tilt is the only site I know which allows you to convert your play chips into money you can use on real money games. You should also look into the private games, which offer a much better prize structure, normally. Good Luck!

I played in a tourney today and I was in last place or second to last at one point, out of around 45 left. I came back and pulled a 4th place. Online poker tourneys do favor the big stacks.

I really like Full Tilt but I stay away from most Freerolls. 2700 is too many people for the amount of money that can be won. I don't have 6 hours to sit down and play to win 75 cents.

I do however like playing the freeroll to the Daily Dollar. It is a donkfest but that is what makes it fun. You start with 300 chips and hope to hell you get lucky. Skill has very little to do with anything in this tournament....at first that is.

Overall, I rate Full tilt a 7 out of 10

I bubbled out of tonights tourney with 99. Got called on the flop by A10 and the player hit runner runner for a straight. I feel good about the push on the flop, just got called by the playing willing to gamble with nothing. It happens, but all in all I did a good job in lasting to the final table. Some wanted to use the deal option, just to see what it looked like, but two people would not check the box. Maybe I will get to see it sooner or later. GL on and of the felts. X
