The posting rule should only apply to new members just because i don't post doesnt mean i am not active here.I come here and read other posts......
I also always come here and read things and i have probably invited at least 25 of ur members to join... but like u i have been lax in posting... so take a few minutes and reply when u read a post... it isnt hard and the admins just want to see this forum grow.. it does that by all of us being active... this is a good forum... enjoy...
I support the new rules :helpme

But ixgames have persevered and I just read an email that says we will be sent notification of new freerolls. Now THAT makes it all worthwhile. I joined initially because I thought I would see what sort of freerolls were on offer and then just found it all too hard/time consuming.
As a result of that attractive offer, I have had a look around the forum this morning and actually like what I see. I can see that I'm gonna enjoy being a member.
So thanks ixgames, I don't know how lonhg it takes to be a full member, but this looks like fun anyway
Hi all!
New things are always confusing in some way, even for me. Im gonna explain this trial membership further below.
1) Im a trial member is that the same thing as a death penalty ?
False
2) Will I get a real membership if I create comments, have questions, posting information valuable to the community and in other ways contributing ?
True
To answer another question, if you received the "infamous email", this means you are on trial. The ones that never received this is still a registered member.
To give you some pointers: Coming here twice or more per week, make some comments, ask some question, or just let us know what you have been doing the last week is a way of being active, its that simple really.
If you are dead serious about poker or gambling you will probably want to set aside more time, everything is relative.
So to one of the most important questions, what can a member on trial not do that a registered member can ?
The only thing that sets you apart is how the poker freerolls forum is displayed. For members on trial it is a private forum and not accessible.
We want to filter out the members that only comes here, grabs the poker freeroll password and leaves.
That's one of the reasons, the other is that we want to build a community. A community is alive first when members engage in various discussions.
That's the bottomline!
Please post any concerns / comments.

This all sounds straight forward. But I have just had a look at the member list. There are 8306 people listed. 33 of these are listed as members (or higher status) and 8273 are listed as "junior member" - same as me.
Can anyone tell me, is the "junior member" status the same as being a member with limited access to freerolls?
It also looks as if '30' is the magic number of posts that distinguishes "junior member" from "member" . Does that mean we must make 30 posts before we are granted access to the freeroll section of the forum? Or is this a secret?
seem to remember that we have to participate for some time (weeks/months?) before we are upgraded.
Does anyone know how long that takes?

For example, as I just said, there are 8306 members. But when you check the number of posts they've done, you quickly see that over 7000 of those have never done a post, and that of the remaining 1300 odd members, 660 have only done one post!
Makes you see their point doesn't it? That's a lot of freeloaders!
Sorry guys for not getting involved. It is a case of the free rider problem - each person thinks that it does not matter if they don't participate - after all there are a lot of members. But when we each independently make that choice, no-one is left to actually make the forum work! (same as not paying taxes)
OK, enuff said on this - i'm off to explore the rest of the forum
I don't wanna seem like I've got a bee in my bonnet. Its just that I am looking around and finding some interesting info.

Doesn't take a lot of time to put something
back into ixgames.

But this is ridiculous, for the Bodog $100 FR today, there were 6 people. 6 !! And Im not saying I should have been able to be there, but it seems wierd only 6 people got invited to the tournament.
Usually there are like some 100 or so people. But 6 people for a payout of 5 is pretty crappy. I think you guys could have made more time for people to completely understand the new rule.
6 people ?? honestly ?

:thumbsupThis is a good way to keep password stealers from swarming our private tournaments
This fair and unfair at the same time.
Please have some understanding :crying
