A partial quote from Ixgame email, "We have made some changes to the system tonight and this means that unactive members with less than 5 posts are on trial. This means they cannot take full use of ixgames features."
As it looks I am limited as to where I can look and post, and I was above 4 posts. Guess it goes beyond 4 posts. I probably do more PMing then posting and only post to something of interest and I don't do a 2 or 3 word post, even if it is a thank you, I still try to add more to it.
Then it may be that the membership has not been completely converted to the system.

Hi all!

New things are always confusing in some way, even for me. Im gonna explain this trial membership further below.

1) Im a trial member is that the same thing as a death penalty ?

False

2) Will I get a real membership if I create comments, have questions, posting information valuable to the community and in other ways contributing ?

True

To answer another question, if you received the "infamous email", this means you are on trial. The ones that never received this is still a registered member.

To give you some pointers: Coming here twice or more per week, make some comments, ask some question, or just let us know what you have been doing the last week is a way of being active, its that simple really.

If you are dead serious about poker or gambling you will probably want to set aside more time, everything is relative.

So to one of the most important questions, what can a member on trial not do that a registered member can ?

The only thing that sets you apart is how the poker freerolls forum is displayed. For members on trial it is a private forum and not accessible.

We want to filter out the members that only comes here, grabs the poker freeroll password and leaves.

That's one of the reasons, the other is that we want to build a community. A community is alive first when members engage in various discussions.

That's the bottomline!

Please post any concerns / comments.

Hmmm I don't think I ever got an email but it looks like I am on trial. Fair enough. I'll get to posting.

It is a good idea to at least do something to make people not just steal a password and play with people that will never even use this site.

Every site has some sort of restriction. As long as they let you know, it's all good.

It took me a while to find the Announcement along with these comments. Nothing wrong with changes, you just roll with it. However, how do we find out that we have been taken off probation or trial now that we know what is expected? This wasn't clear.

It wasn't hard to qualify. Seems like a fair rule.

Forums should have some rules ,that, we agree. ButI firmly stand bye my stance on the members they put on trial. It should have stated,,,, that you members with less than 5 posts have---- let's say ---2 weeks to meet our new post quota, or you will be considered on probation ,,,,,,,then they could have changed the rules for incoming members. That way he wouldn't here ppl complain, because the ones that understand rules would have come here in that 2 week period, and gotten our required posts .,,,and would understand how to stay active...hence posts ,replys, and just saying hey ........that's all i am saying........----------==============
