What if some one gets addicted to gambling , what are the ways to get rid of it , is there any kind of rehab for such addictions ?

Of course there is. There are many gambling addiction treatment centers which help people to come out clean. Refer this site: www-recoveryconnection-org/addiction/gambling-php for more info on gambling addiction and available treatment options. Take care!

Many opponents of Internet gambling in the US have cited unfounded belief that regulating online casinos will cause an epidemic of problem gambling. But scientific measurement has found that in actuality, problem gambling occurs in greater percentages at land-based casinos than at Internet gaming venues.

My opinion is there is no way back.
I've seen some people loosing everything before getting into the road because of gambling.
I've never seen any rehab centres for that type of gambling..
What do you think?

I would think the best way to get help is to contact Gamblers Anonymous. Wish you the best. :thumbsup

In my opinion, players visit the casino for different reasons. Some people play for fun and others play to win money. For some, gambling addiction is hard to beat. Reason why one should be careful and decide for fun or money before playing.

It's scary to think how addicting gambling can be, but it is a huge problem. I just found this article.

Church Accountant Stole £70,000 to Fund Gambling Addiction

The article says he lost it online and only won back 10% of what he gambled.

And this is the kicker... he only got 16 months! WOW!

Have to say that one of the worse idea's ever was the devil wheel in the bookies ( which is roulette ) seen people lose £1000's especially my mate who does his whole months wages in a few days now if you suffer the same sort of problem the best way is take £20-40 out a day max and leave all cards and wallet at home , this way you still get your fix and if you lose you have only lost the £40 max
