Does anyone know what ever happened to those bank accounts being frozen in New York a few months ago. I know that I can't use e-checks to make deposits anymore. If you have any info please let me know. I know I read about all over, then all of a sudden, I've heard nothing.
Thanks,

Something wicked this way comes… On December 1st, the United States must come in full compliance with the regulations set forth in the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act or UIGEA for short. Meanwhile, the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) is scrambling behind the scenes to slow the coming storm of vague laws aimed at bureaucratizing the illegality of online gambling.

On December 1st, the financial services industry in the United States must fall into full compliance with the regulations of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). Working to delay the deadline is the Poker Players Alliance (PPA).

A new report from consulting firm MECN and law specialist Ulys is predicting that gross revenues from a liberalised French online betting and poker markets could grow to €1.7 billion by 2015.

The report will have many operators excited about the prospects of boosting their business once the French online gambling market is opened up sometime next year with MECN revealing that this optimism seems to be justified.

The consulting firm stated that one of the key aspects of the planned French liberalisation, which it revealed would probably take effect next summer, will be the opening of the interactive and online sports and horserace betting markets as well as online poker.

Like France, in several other countries people are using illegal gambling sites. So in order to regulate the industry and the money involved, governments must set certain standards to legalize it so as it would not affect existing players interests and also help government in revenue generation.

The Illinois Racing Board will meet today to determine of three companies will receive licenses to offer online gambling.

If the companies are approved, gamblers could be placing bets online as early as Wednesday. This is one of the many gambling changes that have been made to Illinois law. Recently, legislators gave the right to bars to offer video gambling in their establishments.

more to come............. 😁

There once a player named bred
Who had online poker stuck in his head
He had triumphant feats
But more often bad beats
So he decided to play rummy instead

Sylvester Stallone will shoot a scene with Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger soon for his upcoming adventure "The Expendables," due to hit theatres in 2010. The man behind the successful Rambo and Rocky franchises has also brought Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren on board for the story of a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.

That's cool :thumbsup

Mickey Rourke? Mickey Rourke? What's he gonna do, scare the bad guys with his good looks? Sorry Mickey but you are not who I think of when I think mercenary.
