There is no hope for some of you the thing says "private" which means they let in who they want and if they dont like you it is pointless to try you can post 100 threads and still wont get in. GL

There has been no reason to believe that we are being blackballed from the site, just a request to be more active members. The post they wrote is pretty self explanatory. If they were going to make this more stringent, I'm sure that it would have been spelled out.

Unlike Pokerstop, who has basically refused members (who didn't download software through them), and when you question why you can't get passwords anymore as a active member, you are told (in an email) that you will need to create a new account in order to remain, and download the software through their site. That isn't going to happen, because that is part and parcial of current problems we have with multiple accounts. I have no intention of being kicked out of the sites I play through just to play online poker via Pokerstop.

I'll try to be more active

Haven't been here in a while or played much poker either for that matter

Now that the colder weather is here I'll be spending more time on my computer

Good luck and have fun

I've been a member of ixgames a long time. my account was deleted at 1 point I do not know why and i play your freerolls once in awhile
Bottom Line you guys get a percentage of the rake when one of us deposits on a site through you so lets all just play and try to have fun

Posted this in another thread but thought that it fits under the suggestion forum as it is more of a suggestion and please do not take it wrong. Here it is:

I like the idea of having to be active to receive the PW. I just wish I had known via email or something that way I would have been more active. An email would probably have got people involved in the site making it more interesting and fun to be a part of. Now I come back as I am a busy person and I am shut out. Just saying an invite to be more active would have been appreciated. I know people join to get PW's and the rules help with getting the forum hopping, this I understand. No problem there.
Oh well, I guess it wasn't that important to get the already signed up people back and posting or emails would have been sent. As you can see the turn out is very low. Just a suggestion for getting more traffic.

Thanks anyway...

Just received a message today from Administrators and Moderators. Just want to say that I understand seeking active members here, and I'm not in it for just the freerolls. If you look you will find that I didn't participate in the last 2 freerolls at all.

I initially got involved with your site to be more sociable, but I'm not one to simply write a blog to hear myself talk. I've actually looked at some of the blogs that have been written and find them entertaining and informative for the most part. However, I've read even more where a member seems to vent about the same things all the time. That isn't my style, although venting is good unless it seems that is all you can do. Playing poker is suppose to be fun, and of course there will be people who are "constantly" called donks because they are new to the game and need to learn the ropes. But the idea is that they may be like me and using this as an avenue to become more socially involved. Tearing them down doesn't reinforce a positive outlook on this.

I don't blog much, or post much, because I haven't learned the fine art of what is interesting information. I could tell a few jokes to show some activity, but is this really what is wanted just to show activity?

I am not well known, nor do I know many poker players, so again it is difficult to speak to anything of interest since I don't really know that much about the game either. I'm still in infant stage for online poker and the fine art of clever repartee. If anyone has good ideas on how to accomplish a better understanding of this, please let me know.

Free rolls r fun,but seriously guys, joining a site just to get pws is a crock~~~~~~~

I think it is not a bad idea to encourage more activity. It would be nice to have a more formal understanding of what is required. All I have seen so far is 5 posts... Is there anything beyond this ??

I like the new system...there are 4800 people registered here with only 100 who actually uses the site for what it is intended for, socialize. What would happen if they removed all the freerolls? How many players would actually post here?

oh i forgot to ask my question was wonderin on how long u have to b a member to get active i understand the 5 posts a day so how many post do u need to become active i should sayIt is not really about the amount of posts you need, it is just being active. The admin will decide when you are ready to be a full member. It is not something that is done automatic. If it was done automatic then people who post 1 line quick hitters would be registered members and that is not what the site is looking for. Just want meaningful posts from the community. If you stay active, you should be registered by next week. Admin updates about every week.

You should also understand that there are posts by IXGAMES and Manne that drive some of the new requirements for getting A-listed as an active member. You should look for recent posts dated 13-10-09 specifically that covers "The future of freerolls....". Both IXGAMES and Manne put out some very interesting posts.

I seem to fall into that category of not much to say as well. But I will say this, the small turnout at the freerolls is refreshing. And I will try and stay active as to qualify myself.
