Hi marchboy, sportsbook bets can be found in the ‘Bet History’ --> ‘Fixed Odds’ section of ‘My Account’.

Hi all. Today i made 2 bets for the match. Yesterday it was 6-1 3-6 in first 2 sets. I see the bet "No tie break" for 1.3 (it was in bookmaker, not in exchange markets), and i bet some money. Than i see in exchange lay for "no" 1,01, and bet few dollars. Match was ended, i see 8-6 on desk and that all my bets lost So funny.
In a live chat lady told me that it's ok, and all my bets lost. I said that bet "No tie break" have to win or at least canceled, but not lost. She just said that's my problem and that's it.
So be careful with Betfair. Your winning bets can also lost.

Hello guess, here is no tiebreak in the last set in Wimmby bro so if it goes more than 6-6 it is a tiebreaker, you wanted to abuse that fact that they didn't have their system adjusted but imo u are lucky to have gotten a void.

Betfair aim to settle everything within 30 minutes, however if your bet is still open for an extended period after the results have been announced, please contact betfair customer support team, indicating your Betfair username and the corresponding Bet ID found in ‘My Account’.

Hey idlepick,
of course there is a Betfair mobile android application! This application is very easy to download by using your Android mobile phone. You simply go to the Android store, or the Betfair site, and download it from there. You will find that this application has the same functionality as the Betfair site and you can find all of your favourite games and activities there

Hello all,
I’ve just got a new ipad and I want to use the Betfair site. I use Betfair a lot and think it’s the the best site available for sporting and casino games. What I wondered is whether there is a Betfair video on the ipad? That is, whether there is a video which shows you the Betfair range of games that I can play on my ipad. I am not sure if all videos actually play on the ipad.

Hey miller3,
The last time that I looked on the Betfair forums it was not possible to watch Betfair videos on the ipad. If I recall the problem is that Adobe Flash is currently not compatible with the ipad. This means that you can’t watch certain videos on the ipad. You are able to watch Betfair videos on other systems and you might want to try your laptop and desktop.

Hi, anyone know of any betfair trading strategies?

I have finally signed up for a Betfair account and wanted to start using betfair more regularly. The problem is that I don’t know any effective betfair trading strategies. Can anyone give me some advice on what are the best sports to trade on. I don’t want to throw all my money away because of a few naive mistakes!

Thank you all!

Hello idlepick, If you are fancy having a go at trading, I would start with football to begin with ’cause there are so many bets you can go for. As long as you understand about backing and laying. That’s how the trading strategies work. One of the most basic Betfair trading strategies is laying the draw, all it takes is using a bit of judgement and football knowledge.

Hi all, I placed a bet today on Betfair's exchange on some match. There was around £90 available at 2.64,and £104 at 2.62.I bet £194 at 2.62 - expecting to get a mixture of 2.62 and 2.64.
But I actually got under 2.621.I'll be more careful next time, and place the bets separately.I suspect some monkey business by some betting 'bots.

Yes guess, I'm still use betfair, because it's good mookmaker. Betfair is really the only option I have left for betting on UK racing as I've been limited to peanuts or closed down at all other agencies which offer it.
Regular users get significant commission discounts which does still keep Betfair's effective odds competitive with bookies.

I also using I think it very rarely these days. Seems to have got worse over the last year (no longer in the BMR Green List). Most concerning and the main reason players bet with them was the great odds - this is not the case anymore. The ability to lay, means betfair is a vital cog, but I do feel that they have really lost momentum, and should have been the true sport betting giant, always offering the fairest odds on every event - not the case.

Hello guess, I use the primarily for US sports but as with Betfair find that liquidity is lacking until close to game time.
They are fairly decent for tennis also. However they do suffer from a severe lack of sports and markets as compared with Betfair. Even for US sports, e.g. no 1st half NBA totals. Their platform is slow and seems to be quite buggy.

I'm too use Betfair. Having been limited to peanuts or had my accounts closed at all reputable bookmakers covering UK horse racing. Betfair is very much better than the other exchanges in terms of liquidity, markets offered and the ability to trade out or have your money taken when you ask for a price.
