Just went online and searched to the password. Some site called "forumotions" or something like that connected with twitter somehow said they had the password. I clicked on it and a box came up with the ixgames tourney on carbon and had password line but I had to join to see the password. I didn't go that far but I assume 200 or so people did. Hope this isn't the way all the pw tourney's are going to end up.

Just checked one of the online forum PW thief & sharing sites
it was posted on their site
early afternoon w/ 9 replies
so I gues from there
it mushroomed into what you see

Rogier, is the forums 'global moderatoer'
whom was the one that posted the PW on their forum
-such a nice person-
and he(?) has a lotta connections
for he is posting plenty of PWs there

ya know someone like that
has so many real live frriends in the world

(Mama always said
if ya cant say anything nice about someone
then dont say anything at all)

so now, the nice part is over.............

Well took alook at the top 3 who got the tickets dont recognize any of the names .
always nice to see non members win stuff . sure glad didnt waste my time on this didnt even bother to register .

I gave up on this one pretty fast. . .

I gave up
as soon as I seen the numbers
I logged in exactly at gametime

I just hope
that we got some new members out of that mess

dunno how long the tourney lasted
probably less than ten hands for me
I was a lil upset to see it turnout that way
if I'd had time to ''deregister'' _ I would of

it isnt the amount of ppl in a tourney that turns me off
it is the amount of 'obvious' thieves

and as Steve put it
it is all because of a M.O.L.E.

I just hope
that we got some new members out of that mess
Do we really want our new members to be people that we know stole the password? Why would I trust any of them to NOT spread it themselves once they get legitimate access? I don't see a password thief/sharer zebra changing their stripes once they've got the key to the vault. . .

I have to say that the coupon idea makes the most sense. Heck, I get a Twitteroll coupon every week that I never use! And I've been "awarded" coupons for other private games on Merge skins. It's basically the same thing that's in place for the FullTiltPoker and DoylesRoom games and those seem to be very much under control except for the rate of no-shows. The only real difference is that you would actually have to register with a coupon as opposed to being pre-reg'ed in. And in that way there might actually be less no-shows. . .

there are some ppl
that get the PW by means other than their request for one
and will then just check out the forum & join
w/o entering that particular game
then enter future games legitimately

I know of ppl of that caliber
and I am one myself
that is what got me here
I didnt play the freeroll
that a member of another forum
passed out on the chatbox
I joined and started playing the later ones
