Online gaming company 32Red PLC (TTRL.L) said its revenues this year would beat market forecasts after they rose 50 percent in the first six months.
The Gibraltar-based company, which operates a range of casino-style games online, also said it planned to enter the Italian market during the second half of the year. Most of its current players are based in Britain.
Revenues increased to 16.5 million pounds ($25.8 million) in the six months to end-June, from 11 million a year ago, and were up by 28 percent in the first 20 days of July.

POLICE discovered a 15-year-old girl at a betting shop in Limassol on Sunday night during an islandwide clampdown.
“A 15-year-old girl was found at a betting shop where checks were being carried out (and) she was there as a customer,” said police spokesman Andreas Angelides, adding that the incident would be fully investigated.
According to Angelides, despite being a customer at the premises the teen was not caught actually betting or gambling online at the time.
“You understand that when we’re talking about a 15-year-old it’s something that has to be investigated and it will be…how she came to be there,” said Angelides.

The Senate Committee on Indian Affairs released a discussion draft of a bill on Internet gaming Thursday detailing what tribes would like to see in online poker legislation.
Committee chairman Sen. Dan Akaka announced The Tribal Online Gaming Act of 2012 during a hearing on the regulation of tribal gaming. A discussion draft is not a formal bill intended for vote. This is not likely a bill that will ever be voted on.
