Most compulsive gamblers will answer yes to at least seven of these questions.

1.Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?
2.Has gambling ever made your home life unhappy?
3.Did gambling affect your reputation?
4.Have you ever felt remorse after gambling?
5.Did you ever gamble to get money with which to pay debts or otherwise solve financial difficulties?
6.Did gambling cause a decrease in your ambition or efficiency? 7.After losing did you feel you must return as soon as possible and win back your losses?
8.After a win did you have a strong urge to return and win more?
9.Did you often gamble until your last dollar was gone?
10.Did you ever borrow to finance your gambling?
11.Have you ever sold anything to finance gambling?
12.Were you reluctant to use "gambling money" for normal expenditures?
13.Did gambling make you careless of the welfare of yourself or your family?
14.Did you ever gamble longer than you had planned?
15.Have you ever gambled to escape worry or trouble?
16.Have you ever committed, or considered committing, an illegal act to finance gambling?
17.Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?
18.Do arguments, disappointments or frustrations create within you an urge to gamble?
19.Did you ever have an urge to celebrate any good fortune by a few hours of gambling?
20.Have you ever considered self destruction or suicide as a result of your gambling?

Some times people think they may have a problem and after they read the questions they realize that they do. If you or someone you love has a problem there are resources available no matter where you live!!

When it becomes more than a game it is time to get help. There are many resources where a player can find help.

Regards: Ixgames

That is a really cool check list. Often, the way to stop a problem is to realize that one has a problem and take appropriate steps to correct the aberrant behavior

The Jackpot Factory, a leading online casino group known for first-rate customer support and a wealth of games, announced that its All Slots Casino will now offer multiple languages, allowing French, German, Italian and Spanish speakers to play over 300 casino games in a localised language environment.

:thumbsup

That is a brilliant business move on their part because it will eradicate the potential for any customers to head over to a competitor

I am not sure if "expansive" is the best word to use, but it is the one i am going with. What is the most elaborate and expansive online casino website out there that is loaded with all sorts of features?

There are a couple different types of progressive slot machines in a land based casino. All land-based casinos, and most online casinos, feature several types of progressive slots.

Individual Progressives: This type of slot machine is self-contained, it doesn't receive any jackpot contributions from other jackpot / progressive machines.

Linked Progressives: Linked progressive are groups or machines that are tied into each other. All contribute to one common jackpot.

Multi-Location: Multi-Location progressives are the ones that people dream about. These consist of banks of several hundred machines located in many different casinos that all contribute to one giant pot of gold. Your odds of winning those millions are about the same as your odds are for winning the lottery. But then again someone always wins.

I am a little skeptical hitting one of those jackpots, but then again I have some seriously bad luck at times

Gamblers lost $959.8 million at Nevada casinos in June, almost 6 percent more than in the same month a year earlier, helping the state notch record winnings for the fiscal year, Nevada's Gaming Control Board said Friday.

Casino gambling revenue, known as gaming win, keeps growing in the U.S. casino capital, despite fears of an economic slowdown and the growing challenge of Asian gambling enclave Macau and new slot machine facilities on the East Coast.

Nevada marked a record fiscal year for the 12 months ended June 30, winning $12.7 billion from gamblers, up almost 5 percent from the previous 12-month period.

The Las Vegas Strip - the heart of Nevada's casino industry - led the gains, reporting a gaming win of $500 million for June, up 13 percent from a year earlier. (For the 12-month period, the Strip had a gaming win of $6.7 billion, up 6 percent).

It is shocking when you consider how much money people can lose if they go on a downward streak!

A Progressive Jackpot is a jackpot for a gaming machine (usually a slot machine or video poker machine) where the value of the jackpot increases a small amount for every casino game played. Normally multiple machines are - linked - together to form one large Progressive Jackpot that grows more quickly because multiple casino players are contributing to the jackpot at the same time.

That definitely sounds like a good deal as it has the potential to allow a person to win super big

Progressive jackpots are my favourite. I'm a "go big or go home" kinda person. The best is when you are in a live casino watching those numbers go up. It's nice online, but just the feel of the casino makes it that much more intense.

This is the best casino I've been to. Mind you, I haven't been to too many, but this was my favorite.

This is the reason. When playing on the blackjack table, the dealer has to take another card on 17.... I think that's what it was. Is that normal? What's normal and then I will tell you waht they did, because everyone that I was with couldn't believe that it was house rules because it went against all other casinos.

Make sure to always play maximum coins on progressive games. You'd never forgive yourself if you missed out on collecting a top jackpot because you didn't bet the maximum number of coins. If you want to play one coin at a time in order to stretch your playing session, don’t choose a progressive slot. Playing progressive machines means you have to bet maximum coins every spin.

IS that how you win jackpot? I never knew that one.

Gov. Martin O'Malley said he will introduce a proposal to legalize slot machine gambling in Maryland, saying the state needs to protect open space, agriculture and jobs.

The plan would allow for about 9,500 state-owned machines placed at a couple of horse racing tracks and what the governor described simply as destinations. He did not specify which tracks would get slots, nor did he elaborate on what he meant by destinations.

The governor estimates slots would generate about $550 million. That's almost a third of the $1.7 billion structural deficit that the state is facing, and there is no contingency plan to fill the fiscal hole if a slot measure fails in the legislature.

The Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort has become the first casino in the country to let players sign up for popular poker tournaments online.

The casino uses "PT Seats," what inventor Fabricio Schaffrath of Miami calls "a Ticketmaster for poker tournaments."

Players visit the Web site ptseats.com, pick the tournament they want to enter, and reserve a spot using a credit card. There is a convenience charge ranging from 3 percent to 6 percent of the buy-in for the tournament.

(So far, nearly 100 Atlantic City poker players have signed up for the service).
