The teams have already played two matches in Dallas and split the score. However, the representatives from Colorado were able to take the lead in the series with a 2-0 score. At first, they had no chance against the hosts in the first match (5-1), but then they twice took the lead in the second match, winning in overtime against the "Stars."
Having finished the season poorly, the Dallas players, in my opinion, are not in the right form. Just to lose twice at home would have meant a critical situation, so the team was able to mobilize and tie the series. However, now the "Avalanche" will be more determined for the match - home games come with an obligation. And the visitors, seeing the match slip away, may simply give it up, as they have another attempt in the same arena in just two days.
