The Chinese season begins. Shenhua, however, had already started their season earlier - they won the Super Cup and successfully advanced to the ACL Champions League play-offs. Shenhua is once again one of the favorites to win the league, as the team has maintained almost all of their top offensive players and has successfully integrated new players, one of whom has already scored a hat-trick in the Champions League. Shenhua plays an attacking game at home and scores a lot of goals, so it is likely that their style will not change, especially when playing against teams like Yatai, who looked very weak away from home and struggled defensively against strong attacks. There have also been no major changes to their defense this year, so they will likely continue to rely heavily on their home field advantage and their strong offense.
