P.America U20 championship. Argentina started the tournament by knocking out their longtime rivals Brazil with a score of 6-0. This generation of Argentina is very good, deep, and has top talent Echeverri leading the way, who already has a contract with ManCity and is leading the team's game with excellence. And what's just as important, they have an excellent coach Placente, who led this generation to the semi-finals of the 2023 U17 World Cup. And with former coach Mascherano leaving for Inter Miami, he handed over the reigns of the Peru and U20 team to Placente, which Argentina now calls a gift and thanks Messi for freeing up the national team spot for him. With him, Argentina plays a much more creative style of soccer than under Mascherano, more focused on offense and helping the attacking potential, of which there is plenty, to flourish.
