Over the past year or so, Sinner has reached his potential while Rune is still seeking stability. However, I don't think he can beat Dana 3-0. Rune is a talented player, but it seems like he hasn't quite reached that mental stability to consistently be a Top 8 or higher player. Their previous matches have all been close (2-2 head-to-head, all went to 3 sets except for one Grand Slam encounter), even since Sinner rose to the top in 2023. They have only met twice and Rune won a set each time. I think Dana could easily get under his skin and become a #1 threat. Speaking of this tournament, Sinner hasn't shown any outstanding performances; he has struggled in tiebreaks against Jarry, lost a set against Schoolkate, and barely managed to beat Giron. On the other hand, Rune fought hard, winning the last 2 sets and defeating Berrettini. I'm not too worried about the time difference on the court, after all, Rune is only 21 years old.
