JAE. Before the new season, both teams played against each other for a cup, where Wasl won the first match 3-1, and in the second match they only managed to maintain a 0-0 tie, although the score did not reflect the game and there were definitely goals. This time, Wasl no longer has the luxury of just holding on to a tie, as their season in the league has been tragic, and they need points desperately. It seems that they are finally starting to find their footing little by little. After returning from injuries, their attacking leaders are regaining their form, and the offense is starting to function more efficiently. Baniyas doesn't have the resources to resist if Wasl plays to their full potential. They are under pressure as they are close to the relegation zone, with their last victory being months ago.
