Stability over instability. While Shang and better players in China, like Shapavalov in the Americas, the tennis players there are very different. Canada is led by emotions and often swayed by them, and their playing style of taking risks is a huge mistake in the early rounds, especially when their form is poor. Shang is a very stable tennis player, calculating and playing well, so I believe the Chinese player is the clear favorite in this match and should win their first meeting.
