Los Angeles Lakers - Minnesota Timberwolves

The NBA Season is finally returning to the airwaves and I'm watching AD Overiu against the Timberwolves. Davis is in great form, ending the season with a phenomenal 35-point performance against the Suns, and it looks like he will be a prominent option for scoring this year. It's a tough match-up against 4x DPOY Gobert, but Davis could be considered Gobert's kryptonite, scoring over 30 points in 5 of their last 7 meetings, including a high of 42 and two 38-point games. The only two times he didn't surpass Overiu were due to injuries, with one game seeing him leave early and only playing 17 minutes, and the other seeing him only play one period. But with players like LeBron, Russell, Reaves, and even Vincent showing that they can create opportunities, I think AD will start the season with a statement. It's also worth mentioning that the Wolves have brought on new star player Randle, so it may take some time for the teams to fully mesh.
