I believe that the decline in support for TS-LKD this year may give more conservative individuals a chance to protest and vote for the National Unity party, which may gain at least 5% of the votes. This party seems to have a one-sided focus on immigrant issues, but for many voters it is a major concern at the moment. Vytautas Sinica, as the main player in debates, did not perform badly. In recent years, politics in Europe has veered towards the right, and while TS-LKD may seem like a conservative party, it is more centrist than right-wing. For those on the right who do not want to vote for pro-Russian radicals, the National Unity party may seem like a good alternative to have their voice heard in parliament.
