Galan, a young player from Peru, receives an invitation to participate in the tournament. This season has been nothing special for Galan, but he is a well-rounded player who has played in many Grand Slams and is capable of performing on both clay and hard courts at the highest level, not to mention his success in challenger tournaments. It all depends on his motivation, but considering that he made it to the second round and played three sets, I believe he has it. As for the other representative from Peru, I cannot say anything noteworthy, as her results are average in challenger tournaments on clay.
