Plzen" prepared for the new season by playing two friendly matches. They won 1-0 in overtime against Prague's "Sparta" and defeated Boleslav's "Mlada" with a score of 3-1. Generally, the team changed players who had gone abroad with stronger ones, but oversians strengthened the offense, which still hasn't shown its full potential. "Karlovy" played one match with an over result of 3-0 and two matches ending in draws, 2-2 and 4-4. The team strengthened its defense over the summer, but considering today's lineup, only two out of the five new defenders will start. They also strengthened the front with Finnish player A. Ilomaki, who was one of the top scorers in the SM-Liiga league and is now playing in the Finnish league. So, I believe we can expect goals from both teams.
