Last season, Gharafa somewhat shamefully let go of their 2nd place finish and focused mainly on defense, which struggled throughout the season and was the weakest among the top teams. However, during the offseason, the leaders in Peru did not worry too much about this and decided to invest in their offense, which was already strong, but now looks even better as they've signed Joselu from Real, Romanian Coman, top scorer Brahimi, and one of the leaders, Sassi. The offense looks solid, but the defense is not the strongest. The new players, who returned to the team after a break, may not have high expectations placed on them. However, at least in offense, they have quality players who have played in the top league for several years and know how to play and what to expect. I don't think they have a remedy for Gharafa's offense, but they definitely have the ability to punish opponents and their weak defense.
