Olympics. 3x3 basketball. Lithuania against Poland. Let's move with Lithuania Peru.
We cannot afford to make mistakes anymore. The Polish objectively evaluate their team as much worse. They were not highly regarded before the Olympics, but now they have fought well against the French and unexpectedly won against the USA yesterday. This has raised their value, while Lithuania lost both matches and lowered their rating. Yesterday it already seemed like we would lose against the French without a chance, but in the end Lithuania showed character and came back, unfortunately not all the way... I think this will also give them motivation and confidence in their abilities. Overall, Lithuania is one of the better-rated teams and if we can justify yesterday's loss against the Latvians, it will be difficult to do so against the French. We simply cannot lose today, because it would greatly hinder their chances of continuing to fight. I hope lessons will be learned and there will no longer be such foolish mistakes like at the end of yesterday's game. The odds are too good not to try, because if the game had turned out a bit differently yesterday and we were just one point ahead, I don't think we would have gotten such good odds. Good luck.
