Serbia has a solid team, but they had problems in friendly games. They lost to Australia by 11 points and to the same USA by 26. In my opinion, Serbia may seem a bit weak after the World Cup and could struggle here, but I see more than one or two teams who are better than the Serbians. With Jokic working with Anthony Davis or Adebayo, I don't think it will be easy for him, and once he is stopped, half of the team will be stopped.
USA wants to redeem themselves after the disappointing World Cup and I believe they will do just that. Especially in the first games. I think they will want to start off strong. Durant was not present in the friendly games, but he should be playing in the Olympics. Even without him, there are plenty of stars on the team. The main opponent for this team, in my opinion, is motivation, and they will not lack it when playing against the Serbians and especially Jokic. This was evident in the friendly games. The Serbians played with double the motivation. I think they understand that this is a crucial match in the group for the first place and the USA will want to flex their muscles.
