The fight for 9th place. It's strange to see the French here, but there's nothing we can do about it. The French are showing a productive game here, scoring a lot themselves and allowing others to do the same, unlike their usual defensive and slow play. They had a tough group, beating the Faroe Islands and the Swiss, but losing to the World Champions, Spain. Now their opponent is probably the weakest they could have. The Romanians, like they had lost to the Hungarians and Norwegians, but unexpectedly beat the Czechs, which is why they are now competing for 9th place. The team with the Czechs took advantage of all their opportunities and scored 33 goals. However, their opponent now is stronger and it's hard to imagine that the Romanians will be able to score 30 goals.
