Sonderjyske have used the winter break wisely. Their opening two duels in the divisions were really good; it started with 2-1 home win against Nordsjaelland, followed with a goalless draw on the road against AGF Aarhus, another top 6 contenders. Their strikers have done a solid work in the first part of the championship and scored 32 goals in 21 duels, but the back line rarely keeps a clean sheet. Home record of three wins, four losses and three defeats also has to be better in order to finish in the top half
