Pick: Iraq @2.250 10/10 -10.00
Jordan withdrew from the group with 2-1 indicators, and Iraq has only 1 victory. But I want to immediately look at these indicators from a different angle. Jordan beat two of the weakest teams in the championship - Syria and India. And in both matches, the favorites had serious problems - they won Syria in 2 points, and India in 7. Iraq defeated Qatar confidently, lost to the Philippines 16 points (failed in the 3rd quarter in 19) and was supposed to beat China, but Lost 60:61.
If you look at the statistical indicators, they are approximately equal. Iraq is better by FG %, Jordan collects a little more rebounds and makes fewer turnovers. Everywhere everything is equal, in other words.
By the players. Iraq has an american Galloway and this is a huge plus in the fight against a team of roughly equal level, that plays without a naturalized player. The roster is more wide has Iraq - not counting Galloway (37 min) and Hamzah (26 min), 6 more players have approximately equal minutes and the same level. Jordan has a roster as a matter of fact in 7 players (20+ minutes), the rest players have less minutes and can help, but not at the most important moment.
Iraq has harder groupe and they showed more meaningful basketball there. Jordan did not like the matches against the outsiders at all, and their relatively small defeat from Iran (71:83) will be written down on a match not especially important to the leaders (Iran).
