Jamie Murray speaks about problems in Men’s tennis

Jamie Murray recently spoke about the problems Men’s tennis might face if the ATP does not think beyond the ‘Big 4’, which includes his younger brother Andy Murray. "The ATP have pushed these four guys (Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal) which means the problem is that anyone not in the top ten isn't very good and that's not true," Jamie said while speaking to the Times.

He gave a very recent example of the tournament that took place at the Queen’s Club – "Andy lost last week to Jordan Thompson, who (was) 90 in the world, and everyone says it's the worst loss ever, but the guy winning the US Open golf could be 100th in the world and no one says anything but 'well played'. "When people think of tennis they think of the four players at the top of the game.

The sport isn’t promoted, the players are - that will be a problem when these guys stop playing." “At the Queen's, the top three seeds lost on the Tuesday in the first round and everyone was panicking, saying it's a disaster for the tournament,” he further added. “But you got an incredible final that was really exciting ( Feliciano Lopez beating Marin Cilic in three sets).”

Never thought about only top4... any player can win, ofcourse if Top10 plays versus players in the end of top100 , they should win, because we know they are much better, but sometimes elite players just dont want to win enough

Sport is sport, a lot of betters know it.. so no surprises here, maybe not good enough tournament, maybe problems with health, anything could happen, Jordan is good on grass so not a big deal
