Once again the New York Giants and the New England Patriots will be facing off in the Superbowl, the finals of the National Football League (NFL), the most eagerly-awaited event of the entire US sports panorama. In the play-offs the undefeated Patriots, just off a 18-victory record on the friendly turf of Foxboro, Massachusetts, easily pulled off a 21-12 over the San Diego Chargers. A few hours later in Wisconsin the Giants managed a surprise win over the Green Bay Packers with 23-20 at the end of overtime. The match for the title will be held on 3 February in Glendale, Arizona. If the Patriots were to win, it would be the second time in the history of the 42 times the Superbowl has been held that a team remained entirely undefeated for the entire NFL season. The only other team to pull off such a feat were the Miami Dolphins in 1972.

When a team goes 18-0 that is remarkable. :dirol
The Patriots have been a very interesting story this year, and I don't follow the NFL very closely.

Sorry to hear about your position on the big game. I think it was the best Super Bowl game I've ever seen. I hope you didn't put too much down on the game, since I assume you were betting with your heart.
