They very well might, their home record is unbelievable and they seem to be getting it right on their travels now. Beat Bayern 0-3 already this season so yeah if Dortmund collapse, they can be in the running for the title, cause Bayern aren't all that this season

Bayern look to bounce back from last week’s loss to Leverkusen and return to winning ways as they host a disappointing Schalke team at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern’s title challenge took a massive dent last week as they were beaten 3-1 by Leverkusen. That loss not only put them 7 points behind league leaders but also moved them to 3rd place below Gladbach on goal difference.

Prior to the Leverkusen loss, Bayern have shown some very good form winning 7 straight in the league so for now we can really consider that as a blip and should expect Bayern to get back on track especially in a must win scenario against a struggling side.
