Thats not strategy, its just show-down.
It is all a game of "chance" by doing that... and chances are...
you will eventually get ko'd (and deservedly so).

Skill should be coupled with chance... imho.

Those type of tournaments intrigue me somewhat. I would probably play where you get the choice of all-in or fold for fun with friends. Those tournaments where its all in every hand look funny.
I did do that last night once I was heads up in a freeroll. I was down 5-1 in chips and told my opponent that I was going all in the rest of the way every hand. Was tired and late for bed. Won 1st place after 20 hands or so... :1orglaugh

Someone who is playing all-in every hand is not playing poker. They're playing Russian roulette. . .and hoping that the bullet is not in the chamber when they pull the trigger. Or rather hoping that the bullet is in your chamber if you call. . .

You are better off betting on a random dog in a greyhound race I would say. Them types of tourneys are just a glorified fruit machine. Although I am starting to think the same of regular online poker sadly.

Still love poker and love this site for providing freerolls. Great stuff

Is a good tactic against the tight tables at the time when the BB is already quite high

All in all the time only a matter of time before your all out of chips and wondering what went wrong . sure there are times when allins are called for but all the time is suicide waiting to happen .

All in all the time can work sometimes but then again it depends on the type of player......some just don't have what it takes!

It's not poker, it's a game of chance. There's times you have to do it, but it should be a last resort. I've seen some guys try it early in a toruney, but I've never seen them make a final table.

I thought he was talking about them All-in Tourneys where you get 1 chip each and the blinds are massive so every hand is allin until the end. I entered one a couple times and it is crap.

Yup
I only wish I could forget all the Donk names of the All in players.

They definitely add a flavor to the game and it's not a good flavor.

Kamakazi

For sure, but the only problem is the rest of us weren't informed of it.

Is what it is.

When I first started playing online poker at PokerStars, I would play the play money cash tables. I would find tables that played all-in or fold. It was a lot of fun, but for real money no way. Unless it is heads up, an all-in is to risky when a multipot is being played. I would likely wait for a good hand that I feel confident about. X

All in every hand is not a strategy. The result of play like that is that you will be disliked by all others for the short amount of time you are in the game. Try a BINGO Hall or buy scratch off lottery tickets

I don't even like all in or fold tourneys... played in a couple just for fun, but not much skill involved in all in or fold. No skill involved in all in all the time LOL!:thumbsup
