The number one friend in short handed sng tournaments is patience. But dont have too much patience because you dont want to become short stacked.

Play good cards aggressively or adapt to the number of players in the hand.

That is true but i have been the bubble boy quite abit in sng by being patience maybe i take your advice on this thanks

Dan Harrington has great advice on playing short-stacked in his "Harrington on Holdem" Volume 2 (red one); just really good on when to push and with what.

Agree patience is a virtue... and knowing when to change gears is definetly the skill for sit ang go... btw i hate those double up sit an go`s everybody is waiting for the rest to get out :-s

I think the double up sng are good for when your bankroll is low but i do agree with u when ppl just wait and sit out

Well i think patience is important in every tounrey i try to see as many hands as possiable. and pickj my battles it doesnt matter hwo has the most chips first.but who has them at the end.:thumbsup

I play a lot of these SNG's and the best stratagy for me is to "chip away" at them early.If ya can see the flop cheap see it. Avoid the big all ins early and turn it on near the bubble with stronger hands.
