u know i like the way they had it before when u can win cash in stead of the coupon now when u win say 2.20 coupon u have to play a sng just 2 make 5 bucks i think they should put it back as it wasI agree, but I can't complain. It is a freeroll and it provides people with a way to start their bankroll. I wish it was cash so I can put it towards a ring game or another tournament of my choose. I have won a couple of the $109.00 coupons. Haven't used them yet, waiting for that right moment.
I have won once i agree with u on the bankroll but just 2 make a few bucks u have 2 place top 3 just 2 make anything way 2 go on the wins
Its good tournament that. But many people only play for want to have fun on twitter. They doing rest to all cards. Not fun to me cause of they style.Sample 3-7 allin any player vs. mine had KK but flop opened:456...That things is bingo game..No Limit holdem isnt bingo..They must learn or dont play. But how...I dont know :what:
I have watched Professionals ,MANY times go in with odd sets like 2-5 and play the hand, sometimes losing sometimes winning. I have personally sat in live games and players go in with a 4-5 offsuit and hit on the flop, etc.
People are too quick to be critical of another players ways of playing, if they are so good maybe they should write a book on the right and wrong way to play.
Until they pass a law on what cards, one can or cannot go into a game with the chance is always there.
And no my Nick does not have anything to do with the "old ladies game "
Thank you

We can all complain about people who go in with unconforming cards, and I am not one of them trust me on that. However no one complains when they lose and you win the pot.

I'll be there
I've played it a few times. Too many players for too few places paid. Especially when they're only giving away tickets to other games. They can give those away like candy. They're literally free to Carbon to do it. In all likelihood, we'll just give the money back in the end. And if we do run up a roll, then we're paying rake for them. I've cashed a few times in them, but it's not usually worth it.
You make it 2 hours in the tournament, you are in the prizes. You get a $5.00 ticket, play in a $5.00 sng with 6 people(1.5 hours top) win and get $21.00 or 2nd place for 9.00. These tournaments are good for people who need to start their bankrolls. Take that 9.00 or 21.00 and play in the Double-up or nothing tournaments. When my bankroll gets low, I play in those Double-up tournaments(10 person sng/5 places being paid). Pay $5.00 to get in, 45 minutes later win $10.00 by just out lasted half the table. 600 players in a twitter freeroll is awesome compared to freeroll tournaments at fulltilt and pokerstars where there are 1,000+ players. Like the Fulltilt $250.00 freeroll every night for US players, it has 7,500 players.
The point is... when you look at it by percentage, the $250 freeroll you're bashing... pays out only slightly less players by percentage (1.6% for the twitter freeroll vs 1% for the US Freeroll on FTP)... but at least it's cash value you can use however you like. The number of players rarely should be a concern, since in freerolls you'll be dealing with extremely soft players if they even bother to show up.
If a tournament isn't paying 5% of the players, I don't bother with it, no matter what situation my bankroll is in. It's just not worth the time you have to invest compared to the odds of winning a prize.
You're much better off trying to turn play chips into money, which you can do on Carbon through the Fun Steps SNGs.
Really can't agree with you... at least the FullTilt tournaments pay out in tangible value. Not that I play the FullTilt tournaments you're talking about. The Carbon freeroll is only paying out in tickets, least they could do is pay 5% of the field. There are forums out there just like this giving away money in free rolls and paying out a fair percentage of the players. The best ones I've found are on the Cake network and on Full Tilt.

- crap money
- long play
- many donks
But as i said... won't get good for free.
You can't get something great for free. It's a freeroll so some thing for sure :

I guess every man's thinking is different then the next.
I do play in the freerolls at fulltilt, but when I see thousands and thousands of players registery for the same tournament, it does get kind of discouraging.

Yeah I have got so of those coupons I have yet to use them they seem pretty worthless. I guess I will save them for a rainy day. I don't think they expire do they?

You might want to check your eyes. I don't know where you got 600 from. Over 800 played in this tournament... and the cap is more-than three times that. Also, don't forget that even if you win it... what you win has zero value. You have to factor placing in the next tournament into the odds... which makes it much-less than 1%, even if half the field sits out as you're hoping.

Hello ave played in that freeroll oan carbon its good nice prizepool plus accolade.
Yeah... the merge accolades are silly... you can't spend them. But if that's what floats your boat, go for it.
yeah... the merge accolades are silly... you can't spend them. But if that's what floats your boat, go for it.But when you do recieve one(accolade) you feel a bit of accomplishment. Also it lets others know that you have patience and can fight it out till the end.
