Regular freerolls on FT

I played the HORSE freeroll last night and cashed 40th. It seems to me that unless you just want to practice your game these huge field freerolls (7500-10000)are just not worth the time. over 5 hours to cash for $.90. Makes you really appreciate the benefits of ix membership. I will take our $50.00 freeroll anytime.

Are huge and the payout s cheap, but if you are building a br and not depositing it makes you a better player, and its free.

Yes, they are free, but I might argue that some of the habits that people pick up in freerolls can be, shall we say, less than helpful in the long run. One GOOD think that can be learned from FRs is PATIENCE (and I just can't do it! LOL)

That said, as long as people are able to distinguish the differences they CAN be a good way to build a BR from nothing. But truthfully as I have heard since I started playing online poker, it is best to get some decent practice then bite the bullet and make a deposit because it IS so different. Most people do act very differently when they have actually bought into a game or are playing for actual cash.

Not a cash prize but usually get you in a promotional tournament sometimes with a ftpoints buy in, which you can unreg and get the points if you want and use in a points tournament. Anyway, only 180 in those. Of course you only have .24 seconds to register before they fill up, hope you have a fast computer lol.

Those satellites are horrible. I had not played the first hand the other day and someone on another table had 12k. WTF? X

Usually a lot of allins with anything in first hand or 2, then it settles down.
I either sit out first couple hands or just go allin with em and hope to get lucky.
That way I either don't invest any time or I have a decent stack to start with.
I just finished one, just missed final table, A K got knocked out with 6 6, A and 6 hit on flop.

I have won at least 30 of these and without exception all 30 I started out with all-in carnage crap shoot wins at the beginning. Win those hands and you make the final table. It is the only way to play them.

PS. have won round two 4 times but can't get past the next round. Round two plays a whole lot different. Round three is tougher yet.
