I just downloaded the GR88 poker site and it too looks like merge gaming. i dont understand why they dont make 1 site and make it a great site rather than all these little sites.

Merge gaming is just a software provider/developer. Operators can purchase the rights/license to use the merge gaming poker software. So all these "small" sites are just different organizations running the merge gaming software.
Atleast this is how it works generally, im not sure how the license works specifically for merge gaming.
With enough money, man power and paperworks you could run merge gaming on your own online poker site.

Ahhh i see. well i dint really know it was a bunch of companies. just assumed it was 1 large company with many diff. DBA's

I'm looking forward to the switch for playersonly. According to what I read, their gold chips are going to convert to vip pts, 20 per gold chip. vip pts are much more useful on merge than gold chips on cake, in my opinion. Can use em for buyins, the gold chip tourney's were all sat.'s, all rebuy and addons. I have 40 chips so should start off with 800 vip pts. I think the tourney's that let you use vip pts are usually 100 pts per dollar, right?
