I've really had it now with online poker. I don't care what anyone says about how these things happen in live poker also, bull😡 Every time I get a little BR going, I work it up a little at a time, then all of a sudden I can't get a hand and when I do, I get a ridiculous badbeat. Last night was the most ridiculous ever. I'll start with the last sit n go I played, this was on bodog. Playing tight the hole tourney, finally get a hand, I think it was the third hand I played at all, J J. I raise 5 times the blind, one caller, flop is nothin, they go allin, I call, they have pocket 4's, and yes , there's a 4 on the flop. Okay, I can accept that one. But earlier, also at bodog, in late position with a min raise and 3 callers I decide to call with my Qh 8h. BB doubles the bet so now I wish I wasnt in but I'm gettin over 10 to 1 so I call. Pot is over 600. Flop is all hearts, with K being one of them. So I have 2nd nut flush, only worried about Ah being out there. BB bets 500, another guy raises allin. I figure I could be in trouble, but I can't resist and call. I'm hoping to see the Ah not suited. But no, no heart at all. This idiot goes allin with top pair with 3 hearts on the flop and has no heart😡! Well I put it into the odds calculator, I win 97.12% of the time now. Turn - board pairs, river - another K, he now has fullhouse. FU bodog😡!
I feel your pain, madjek, I really do because I spent almost an entire weekend -- over the span of maybe 20 MTTs between late Friday night and Sunday afternoon -- watching pots that were all mine right up to the river end up in someone else's hands and usually bust me to boot. And I mean every single one of them. I can't say many -- maybe none at all -- were truly donk plays by the villains but that doesn't ease the pain any. . .
So, as someone said to me when I went on a similar stream-of-ventingness in another forum, it's time to take a deep breath, maybe take some time off from the tables, get rid of the negative thoughts and energy and tell yourself it was just one bad session out of many good -- or at least comprehendable -- ones. 'Cause you know you did nothing wrong but play the way it's supposed to be played. And in the long run the profits will come and make up for it. . .

Thanks Steve, but this one is gonna take a while. I'm just questioning the reality of the RNG's used online. I have to believe they are really random or else why play. When I watch 3 outers win time after time and my 97% winner get busted, something just doesn't seem right. It always seems to follow the same pattern also. When you first get money into a site, you don't get bad beat often, then all of a sudden, you can't win, no matter how far ahead you are in the hand. I guess I'll get over it soon enough, I love the game too much and can't play live enough to satisfy my desire.
Well, you wouldn't be the first one I've heard express that point of view, but until someone can prove it's not on the up-and-up you either trust or get your money out of there. . .
These are again just My Humble Opinion. Good luck.
Now take a few days to chill then get back on that horse and mow them down.
A). Throw that odds calculator in the nearest recycle bin. b). You should have folded preflop unless your stack was sufficient you could fold postflop without thinking twice about it if you didn't flop the near nuts. c). Your going to see way more freaky hands online due to the incredible volume of hands your able to play vs. live games.ie.) I saw 3 runner runner straight flushes yesterday. I played almost a thousand hands of poker yesterday. Last time I was in Vegas I played about 100 hands for the day live. d) pot odds are great as long as your not giving up 20% of your stack to get a 5/1 return. The math doesn't work.

Have you ever read articles on the "Action Flop Theory"? Hope I am not off topic but I found it to be interesting; if you have time check it out.
At this point I have learned to accept redundant miracle bad beats as a part of online poker. All you can really do is play the best hands possible, make the best calls in the given situation and fully accept what happens after that. Fishy bad beats used to bother me; now I see it as being one of the con's of online poker. I used to take it personal now I have learned to find peace in knowing that if I have made the best play possible with the right cards.................I have simply done all that i could possibly do. The rest is in the hands of the Poker Gods; lol.
If it is no fault that can be attributed to your skill...... take it with a grain of salt and move on to the next tourney. Sometimes these bad beats will be in your favor. Example:
Last night on Bodog, I have JJ pre flop. I make a 275 bet; Guy calls it. The flop comes........6,4,9. I bet 650, guy goes All in; I've been watching this guy go all -in every other hand with anything so I decide to make the call and to my surprise, "Pocket Rockets" I'm thinking Da** it! I just got caught.
Turn comes ....J, river card........guess?............. another fish hook baby!
Another thing, and this may sound crazy, but what SycoSteve about the bad energy is something worth looking into.........You'd be surprised.
I don't have as much experience as the other guys but I hope this helps.
Dude I know exactly what you are talking about.
