Is it OK to reach a final table deal in Ixgames events ?

A question came up in yesterday's freeroll: Is it OK to reach a final table deal in Ixgames events ? Would this be OK with the site owner(s). If so what are other people's thoughts on this and how should the $$ be divided if a deal is discussed ?

Look I think it should be up to us the players. I finished 7th with you guys and was all for the split. Now that being said I understand not spliting as well. It is ok to be not willing to agree go for the gold! Oh yea you guys played great sunday way to go guys I hope to see "some" of you again on the final table.

Yeah, same to u .. gg ... actually I was somewhat reluctant at first but was willing to go with the majority ... I wanted to bring the issue up to see if the host had any feelings about it. (someone said that ixgames wouldn't want us to do it... so lets find out 😉 )

Don't see why ixgames admins or mods would object. . .and don't think there is anything they can do to prevent it except for asking that players don't. Final table deals are legitimate and happen often. Had one happen in another tournament I played yesterday. Unfortunately, it happened just after I busted out. But I was willing to deal if the others were, but not everybody wanted to at that time. . .

Just like sycosteve says its really up to the final table if they want a deal to happen. The fact that full tilt is offering this to its players means alot. Its very unique!

You have 3 different formats to chose form:

1) Independent Chip Model (ICM)

2) Chip Ratio

3) Custom Deal

Im reading all the details at FTP to fully understand every step.

What happens when 1 player at the final table doesnt agree, but the rest does ?

I think PokerStars may allow deal making also -- at least in the big guarantee tournaments, not sure about any others -- but do not know if it is automated the same way as FTP has implemented it or if there is a "tournament director" or moderator thay has to intervene. Any other rooms offering this feature?

Full Tilt is the only one that I've seen this on. As to yes or no in making the deal...some of the forums ask that their players don't. They want you to play it through. However, if IX doesn't care, then "woohoo" for all those that make the final table and agree. You don't have to agree if you don't like the deal being offered and can return to play. Easy peazy...

No its not "easy peazy" we had a problem with one guy and the rest were all for it so its not "easy peazy" it should be taken off.

Well, if it makes you feel better to hold a grudge because one player didn't see the advantage -- or maybe he saw it as a disadvantage -- so be it. . .

It doesn't change the fact that the option exists and nobody can be FORCED to take part if that player -- or players -- want to play it to the end, win or lose. . .
