In their 500 dollar freerolls, I notice a lot of computer or house players. Is this a new phenomenom, or I am just noticing it.

What is it about what's happening that is telling you that these are "bots" or "house players"? Just curious. . .

Don't think so
I've been accused of being/using one myself. As far as I can tell the only basis for the accusation was that I play a tight game and don't chat much.

Alot of people register and don't unregister if they aren't going to play. They should shorten the registration time for them, expand the payout structure, and kick sitouts.
I can guarantee that there are no ”computer or house players” on Bodog. Perhaps you refer to the players who register and then do not show up – these players will automatically fold every hand until they are blinded off.
Also, I will pass on the feedback in this thread to the Bodog Poker manager.
Thank you!
Becky
Just to clarify:

I think the using of bot is illegal.Once the poker room have found the evidence, then should banned the accounts. With that rule, few people dare to use bot.

There is bots. u can find them by timing there bets. always takes one sec. for a raise call fold. its reputicious and easy to spot. especially when they nail you with bottom pair. like me

Sorry But I have to ask. What ia a bot?. And wouldn't a house player be considered a pro. Thanks, freerollbird
A Poker bot, or Poker Robot, is a program or piece of software that is normally hooked up to an Online Poker Site, and makes decisions about the current hand that is being played, and acts accordingly (Bets, Folds, Raises etc), just as if you were playing the hand yourself.
