How do you win when someone has 3 times as many chips than you at a table of 9?
I WANT that guy at my table. Nothing is worse than getting a table where no one has chips. Give me that big stack donk anytime. He's the dude I'm after.
If he's TRULY a donk he should be a gold mine, unless he gets lucky against you also. If he's a SOLID player you're gonna have to work on getting chips away from him and should look at he other short stacks to put pressure on instead. [We don't know skill level from OP. . .]

Big Stack = Double up >>> Double up
Gotta Love those opportunities.
Look for him to overplay a hand and reap the rewards.

three times as many as you is only 1 double up through chip leader to being even with him. If you have 1200 and he has 3X thats 3600. you double through him that gives you 2400 and him the same. That's why you can't pannick when you get SS'ed, you can come back quick with just a couple big hands.

I try to watch his playing style, loose ,tight etc.Alot of times ive noticed when they get big stacks quick they tend to bully the table ,so be patient and wait for the right time .Getting short stacked will sometimes make one desperate but the time will come to come up unless the blinds are high and your on the verge of blinding out.not a guarantee but you never no.
Don't try to bluff him. Don't play marginal hands agaist him, even in position. Wait 'till you get a premium hand, then go for it.
Just play right back at them!
