Talk about getting burned out in freeroll hell. Ya grind so many so long, for pennys or bubble. Some day it gotta give. I play so many freerolls i am getting rusty bad habbits and wouldn't even know a gentlemans game if i fell into it. It's getting to the point where I might not even respect a three bet. Just blowing off steam. Freerollbird

Been there, done that...I just quit playing poker until I get rejuvenated again.
Freerolls are suppose to be fun and stress-free. Vent away, we are here to listen. Make sure you vote for the Carbon Poker tournament payout in the Carbon Poker forum.

This is why I am bcoming more and more selective about the freerolls that I do choose to play. Not jumping into everyone of them that I can find anymore. Too easy to become burned out by the grind of the volume and frustrated by the horrific play in the vast majority of them. . .

I've crossed $25 frolls at most poker rooms almost entirely off my list unless it got a sponser that I know and like and controls access to their game. Has to be a minimum of $50-100 prize pool to attract my attention anymore. Not worth the aggravation for pennies, bubbling or busting early to some yutz. . .

If you see me in a $25 or lower froll anywhere it's either a well controlled game with people I know or it's a new room and I'm trying to bankroll build on the cheap, i.e., without depositing. . .

Thank you all for your responses. Perhaps a slight break and gear shift might be in order. Freerollbird

Sounds like me. I know I need a break, but I love poker. Hard to say what is happening to the online scene, with so many newbies playing bigger limits and making bad calls but getting rewarded. The river is a beast that no one can control. Play solid poker and it will weigh in you favor over time, if you can wait that long. X

You got that right Steve.

Public Freerolls in general are painful to play.
Little rewards and very poor play.
