Why pokerq got banned

Reply Subscribe
I dont like keeping things hidden so I thought I would explain why pokerq got banned before anyone else starts asking questions on the board.

1) This member started a thread about the online casino palace of chance which we have published on the mainpage. The problem with his post was not palace of chance but the focus on ixgames as a supporter for scams etc. Out of line! Palace of chance have received bad reviews from a couple of gambling portals but it's still online here and at many other portals. We have never received any complaints through email or other messages up until today about palace of chance and that casino operator. I searched the forum for old posts but could not find anything negative. But I will personally invest some time, research to see if it's really worth listing them.

This is a friendly and informative community where we must be able to share all of our gaming experiences from good to bad. If someone do steps on a bad gaming operation, casino, poker, betting etc it's a help for everyone to read more about it. We encourage members to share bad experiences and that's a way of helping others.

But it comes with a price, a price where you can buy someone to trash websites, owners etc. Heard of Competition ?! Afterall you can pretty much write anything you want on the internet, on your blog, forums or at your social networking account.

And next...

2) When we further checked the member account we noticed it's been used by multiple individuals. With that said it was an easy call.

We had another individual a couple of months ago go berzerk on a few forums backstabbing ixgames about 4 sentences that were copied from a press release. This is true! But those 4 sentences became a full press release, became a scam and so on. At the moment we found out, it was deleted and the copywriter gone.

I am sure anyone who read his posts would not argue your decision. I am surprised it wasn't done sooner. There was much better alternatives to relaying the information about the suspicious casino in question (pm's for example) rather than implying IXgames was an accomplice.

That being said, I think you guys do a great job.:thumbsup

Being admin for a site you have to make some hard decisions. We have to trust those decisions are best for the site and the rest of the members. I just don't do online casinos anymore. Too much like Vegas. LOL. X

Good decision .........

I just wanted to say thanks for being straight up with all the members and letting us know how and why the decision was made. Many Forums just do as they do with out any explanations for the actions taken.

Not needed but very much appreciated.

Thanks Ixgames
