Pre reg and manually reg for IXgames on sundays FTP 6 pm game

I was wondering if it was possible that the IXGames forum could send the QUALIFIED names that play in Fulltilt Poker Sunday 18'00 poker tourney to FTP and then we could manually register for the tourney if we would like to play. It is nice that we are pre registered right now but I notice alot of sit outs each week. Plus Spring and Summer is approaching and just MAYBE less people will be playing. It will change the payouts as well I think.
Please think about it. Yes it is a bit of work to do but FTP already have the neames QUALIFIED to play.
Thank you for your time of reading this and thank you for the games each week 😁.

Actually I think ixgames could send our names in as pre-registered BUT add a password to the game ... No one would ever need the password, it is ONLY a way to UNREGISTER from pre-registered games.

I've done it before with private freerolls that I have set-up.

AGAIN having ixgames send the password with the game to Full Tilt NOT us ...
would ONLY give us a way to UNREGISTER ... it would never have to be given to a member.

I love being pre-registered for the game, but there have been many times lately that I haven't been able to play and no way to unregister. I hate the idea of holding payouts back from those that are able to attend, and wonder if it is possible to have a means to unregister if unable to play. Many times this isn't known until the day of the game.

While the current system is not perfect, I wouldn't complain too much to a guy that forks out a lot of money each week for us to grab. Thanks IX for all you do for us.

I don't think anyone's complaining, TS, just trying to improve the current system. Reb and Smilie are pointing out that even if there are members that KNOW they won't be able to play, they do not have a way of unregistering for the game. There are ways that it can be done; right now those options are not being utilized. . .

There are a couple of us members -- myself included -- who are rather annoyed by the people who aren't showing up on a regular basis. The people who are just not bothering to show up every week are an entirely different story and just need to be removed from the pre-registration list. One benefit being that the games could be a bit shorter -- not that I don't enjoy the time I spend with you all -- if we didn't have to spend a bunch of time blinding out the no shows. . .

Smilie is correct that the payout structure will change, but it will still be proportional to the number of players registered like most tournaments. I've got no problem with that. . .

If that works adding a password on top of the pre-registered players we are nearly perfection at those games.

We have talked with FTP about pre-registered players and if you still could be able to register manually eliminating sitouts. They told us that dont work.

Going to look at the password option, thanks for the feedback!

It doesn't bother me about the sitouts; I know who they are. If they are eliminated somehow beforehand, you'll have something like 25-30 people registered and 3-4 people that get paid. That might be proportional, but it will likely discourage inexperienced players from registering.

How do you improve your game if all you're playing is mega/large fields where you keep finishing in the bottom of the money -- if that well?

25-30 person field should pay out to 4 or 5, I think. . .

This is highly unlikely to work. If people dont take the time to play they wont take the time to unregister.

Can't really argue with that 'puller. . .

Have to admit, that as good as the games are and as much as I have fun with the members playing, I think all the sitouts are really starting to drag the games out. When you have half the table live and half dead stacks, it really does take quite a while until they get blinded out. . .

I've made the final table 4 straight weeks now and none of them have lasted less then 3 hours and tonight's might've hit 4, but I wasn't around for the very end. . .

Well then....I must be an exception to the rule. I would like the option to unregister since this weekend proved to be another time when I needed to do so due to a family function. I love the fr games we have here, and luv being a member in good standing, but I hate being labeled as a reason the games drag out when I would change that if possible. You know me Steve, and I'm not as a general rule an unreliable person....ever.

Not trying to point fingers at anyone in particular Reb and I appreciate your desire to do the right thing -- at least in my eyes. . .

Unfortunately, when playing there's not time to keep track of who's there and who's not except at your table(s). But maybe it's time to start tracking that to see who the habitual no shows are, as it is becoming obvious that the 25-30+ sitout rate is not abating. . .

There does seem to be a new procedure in place for this week. A link in the tournament lobby and then it looks like it wants a password. Worth at least an experiment. Let's hope it's a successful one!! :thumbsup
