More Good News: A Senate companion bill to Barney Frank's legislation to regulate online gambling will be introduced soon, Poker Players Alliance Executive Director John Pappas said last week.

Representative Daniel B. Maffei, a Democrat from New York, joins eleven other New York politicians - the largest contingent of supporters for the bill so far - and becomes the 51st co-sponsor overall.

The list now has been run up to fifty-eight co-sponsors. Representative Frank has said that he will bring the Internet gambling debate to the forefront in Congress in the Fall, and it looks as though he will have plenty of support by then.
